Patrick’s PCT Adventure
A 2,650-mile scenic trek from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail
The Pacific Crest Trail
The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail (PCT) is a 2,653 mi (4,270 km) hiking trail that stretches from the Mexican border all the way to British Columbia, Canada. It is located located approximately 100-150 miles from the West Coast of the United States.
I will be thru-hiking northbound (NoBo), departing on April 4th, 2022 from Campo, CA, with the goal to make it to Canada by late August.
Locate & Message Me
Thanks to GPS and satellite technology, family and close friends will be able to monitor my progress and send me messages, even when I’m outside of cell phone range.
My Gear
Choosing the right gear is an important part of the planning process, and it’s nerdy and fun! My goal is to be as close to ultralight as possible, while keeping comfort and safety in mind. I’ve been on a few shakedown hikes and I’m quite confident in my setup, although I’m sure I’ll fine tune along the way.
